    i think it is not possible... if your land is situated in a residential area...

    More than likely, you are going to have to discuss the situation with the zoning board or planning commission in the municipality and county where the property is located.

    As far as the cost is concerned: It all depends on the guidelines and specs those agencies have in place.

    You would have to see the zoning board of your city to see if a variance is possible.

    However, if your property is completely surrounded by other property zoned residential, your chances are very slim.

    just from personal experience

    unless you are directly related or have a business partnership with a county or city commissioner your chances as just a private person are slim to none. Unless you can afford the hundred of thousands for a attorney. Even then the commission, planning and regulations will make it as cost prohibitive for you to complete it.

    Most all areas of this country are doing everything they can to destroy small business.

    There is no such defined procedure for resedential land conversion like in delhi it is not allowed to convert resedential land to commercial unless it falls in commercial zone or notified area as commercial in master plan then you have to pay the conversion charges to the authority and then you get it converted in other states like haryana you have to apply for CLU change of land use for the land and you to have to pay the fees as per the state housing authority if you have more queries please mail it to us at www.assetventures.in we will help you out..
