Thread: What's the difference between gel nails and acrylic nails other than gel nails cost more to get and to fill?

I have acrylic nails but was considering gel nails. I saw a pic of them and they were really pretty, but other than them being pretty, are there other advantages??

They are stronger, and you can't chip the color or mess them up. It's more cost wise, but totally worth it. After my first time getting gel nails, I won't go back to acrylic.
