Thread: What movie opens with a clown kidnapping a boy from his parents?

Saw the opening scene to a movie a little while ago, and I cannot find the name of a movie so I can watch it. I don't remember it exactly, or any of the actors, but basically the opening scene starts with a Family watching clowns perform on the street. Suddenly one of the clowns grabs their child and throws him in a van. The father runs to the van and opens the door and the clown shoots him dead. I've tried google searching everything possible to find this movie to no avail. Does anyone know what movie this is?

Maybe its the movie IT by Stephan King but its probably not but the movie does have a clown
