Thread: What is a good meaningful gift to make someone for the holidays?

I want to make this holidays special for my dad and want to get (or make) him something special and meaningful. Any suggestions for something he will treasure?

Honey, as long as he knows you made it, he will treasure it. Gifts that are made come from the heart so much more than if you just went to the store and picked up something ready made. If you know how to crochet or knit you could do what I did last year and crochet him a nice scarf or even back him something that he really likes that he doesn't get that much of during the holidays. Plus if you make it it will say that you took the time to do it yourself and that will especially hold a special meaning for him.
