How to transform stove top stuffing into yumminess?

My daddy makes the best ever from scratch baked stuffing. I dont have the time to make this wonderful recipe of his so have to resort to the boxed stuffing How can I bake this stuffing to come out better than usual? I like mine baked, not soggy from stove. Any ideas on how to cook the stove top stuffing in the oven and for it to come out sooo yum and delish?

I think it's good on it's own, but you could add sausage to it.

Make it the way it says on the box but add some chicken broth in place of some of the water and also add some sauteed onions and mushrooms.
Then pile it into a casserole dish and bake it at 350 for about 15 to 20 minutes.
    It tastes pretty home made.
The baking takes out a lot of the sogginess.

I saute chopped onions and chopped celery in margarine or butter and add that and chicken broth to it and bake it in the oven until it's crispy on top.
