Thread: How to get rid of pimples without any cream maybe something homemade like a face mask!?

I need to make a face mask or something that can get rid of my pimples and I always wash my face but it doesn't seemt o work! Can somebody tell me something that would get rid of my pimples without going to the store and buying all that crap! Thanks!

Toothpaste works pretty well. You can put it on before you go to bed and take it off again in the morning. Moisturizing soaps are better than normal soap, because soap in general dries out skin, causing cracks, allowing more to get trapped between skin layers.
You can try steaming your face (it sounds kind of weird though). Take a tea kettle and boil some water in it. After it's boiling, get a towel and drape it over your head and stand over the kettle so you have a towel tent. Open the lid to the pot so it stops whistling and stand there for ten minutes or so at a time. (Steaming also works well for easing stuffy noses).
If you want a face mask instead, a really simple one is yogurt and oatmeal. To that you can add things like strawberries (or use strawberry yogurt), which have small seeds, smell nice, and can bring out oils in your skin. You can also search online for ideas. You have to rub the mask in so the oatmeal rubs on your skin and then leave it on.

I'm still in my teens and continuously battling acne. I make a quick fix homemade face mask made of baking soda and water. Just mix it into a paste and rub onto your face. It dries pretty fast and starts to crumble so carry a paper towel around. All it does is unclog your pores and takes the redness out. Also works great on sunburns for fast relief.
