I want to buy a rotating stand for a Christmas Tree. But I can't envision how the wires won't wrap around the base of the tree when it starts to spin. Anyone ever used one that can explain how that works?

I want to buy a rotating stand for a Christmas Tree. But I can't envision how the wires won't wrap around the base of the tree when it starts to spin. Anyone ever used one that can explain how that works?
Well, there is several different types of stands. Some make you lead the cords through the middle of the tree (in the stand) and have little 'slits' for the cords to rotate with the tree. Imagine an oval, with a line cut out all around the middle of it. The middle cut is where the cords are at.
Some stands have you lead the lights up through under the stand, and then sprout them through specific 'holes' in the middle of the stand.
And some of the rotating stands are LED and don't even need lights.
It really just depends on which type you get.
The cord plugs into the base which should have a connector, and there are no leftover wires to twist around http://www.christmaslightsetc.com/p/1.25-inch-X-26-inch-ROLLING-STAND--18870.htm The tree has a male plug, the base has a female plug, and then a separate cord for the wall outlet.
