I've bought some artificial nail remover and it doesn't work! The glue is still on my nail :/ what do you suggest?
use nail varnish remover and hold it on for 2-3 Min's
What you need to do, I used to have this problem all the time, is gently rub the glue on your nails that's left behind with a soft emery board. Not the harsh side of an emery board though as that just scratches and shows once the glue is off. Then soak, for about 5 mins in nail varnish remover. It does work.
Find a bottle of acetone and soak your nails in it for 5-10 minutes. If there's a lot, try filing the hardened glue before soaking.
Be careful you dont have any cuts on your fingers, it will sting like crazy!
Hope this helps
soak your nails in nail polish remover then wash your hands couse acetone is very drying then put some lotion on to put the moisture of your hands back .
i held a cotton pad soaked in nailpolish remover on my nail for like 5-10mins, there was still a lil bit on the nail and i used a gentle buffer to smooth it out x
To avoid ruining your nails further, the best option is to file the glue off with a sort nail file. Once you have removed all glue use a smoothing file and make sure you apply a coat of nourishing nail polish (Rimmel do a good one)
Use straight acetone, from any pharmacy or shops like boots, asda etc.
I needed about 2 - 3 bottles. Pour them into a bowl + just soak your nails tips in them, It does take about an hour or 2 but it works.
