Thread: How can I stop the garbage trucks from making so much noise?

They are so loud and go clunking up and down my street at 7am. I like to sleep until 9:45am so that my eyes look well rested and brilliant for the day. On garbage days, I am woken up at that ungodly hour and I look really tired all day. My co-workers don't send their usual compliments about my radiant good looks and dashing smile on those days. Can I sue someone about this?

you cant , they have to do their jobs too...

Put a big sign on your barrels that reads: "Shhh, lazy people are still sleeping".

Not much chance you can do anything. Be thankful they come as late as 7 am. I use to live on the street where garbage pick up was from 3 am.

Yes, you can sue anyone for anything.. But what do you think you could win on this one... well you would make others happy laughing at you.

They stared collecting where i live at six in the morning from last tuesday and i have not had a moments sleep since. I thought it was them aliens landing that we were told of on yahoo a few weeks ago. I am afraid now that the bin larry is the advance legions of aliens.

You can't stop the noise. But, you can ask yourself if you would rather have a street full of garbage that reeks so bad you can't breathe to sleep. Be glad you have pickup service.
