Thread: What recourse does an employee have if terminated because of a mistake on an employment application?

I completed my Junior year of college, and I assumed to the best of my knowledge, that I automatically earned a 2-year associates degree. For the past months, I am threatened by a 3rd party investigator who informs me that I will most probably be terminated. My error was a truly honest assumption. Do I have any recourse?
