Thread: What are the main differences between republican and democrats?

Give me the basic differences and the pros and cons of each political party. I know this is a huge thing to explain. Most info gets 10 points!
Oh and I forgot to mention, no byist opinions please, only facts.

Republicans were born on Earth, Democrats weren't. The difference couldn't be simpler.

Republicans are for states' rights and small national government, Democrats suck, hope that helps.

The wish to tax working Americans--Republicans light taxes Democrats heavy taxes.

Republicans are rich ,heartless people trying to take things away from the poor...

Democrats just "Give"! With or without other peoples money!

The Republicans like to give our money to the major corporations, 70% of these corps, pay no taxes.. The Democrats want to give money to the people, but to do that ,they help create bigger govt. which sadly is very inefficient. Republicans ( read corporations),hate control because they have to play fair and nice (regulated). so they whine about big government and get the peasents upset. a good example is healthcare. the Insurance and Pharmacy corporations are spinning out half truths and lies to stop it. There never was a death panel.. The Democrats, if allowed to impliment a health care plan, will probably screw it up,,, ie, food stamp program, medicaid, etc. oh well.. hopefully one day there will be a viable 3rd party, not controlled by the fringe elements that control both parties now.

The difference is that Republicans want your money to buy themselves a nice new coat, and Democrats want your money so they can pay for social services that benefit the whole community.

Republican ideology is obsolete and only fools still adhere to it when the world is in the shape that they made it in. Hopefully the Republican mindset will slowly evaporate as rationality is spread. Conservatives make me sick.
