Full physical custody means that the children live with you but since you have joint legal custody, your x wife can see the kids and they can stay with her for short periods of times.

Joint custody means that both parents have a say in the raising of the child(ren).. Usually visitation is outlined in the court papers also.

Full physical custody means that the child(ren) lives with one parent, who controls the day to day living of the child.

And no matter what, child support is required on the part of both parents (but the only one actually paying anything is the one that doesn't have physical custody)

If you have a medical condition, you have legal custody to have a joint. If you don't have a medical condition and you have a joint anyway, then you have full physical custody of the joint.

    Hope this helps

Joint legal custody means you both share in the decisions involving your children, like doctors, schools, stuff like that. Full physical custody means that the child is living with you.

Legal custody means that in legal decisions you both have to make the decision and are responsible. Things like Health Insurance, what school the kids go to, if they can leave the country etc. Full physical custody means that the kids live with you. Unless there's a court order you wouldn't have to let her see them. In most states if there is a legal disagreement the court sides with the parent that has physical custody.
