Thread: What are the consequences of a minor committing a felony?

Probation, anger management, community service, jail time, etc. Depends on the severity and past criminal history and where you are located. It could be sealed by the judge or expunged later.

I am 16 years old and I was charged with aggravated assault. I was wondering what punishment I should be expecting in court and I also wanted to know if I would be able to take it off my record at the age of 18.

You also could be charged as an adult...and face adult consequences.

I am pretty sure this is bad news...so a lawyer is in order.
