How much is the pay for married with a child in the military?

How many stripes or what ranking will you be if you have an associates and swear in for six years? What kind of pay do you get for housing food spouse and baby?

Your question most likely can only be answered by a military recruiter. Go there ore email them with your question.

Your best answer will come from a recruiter for whichever service component you are considering.

Pay is based on rank. If you are married you will get a very slight increase in housing allowance (usually a few hundred more per month) no matter if you have only a wife or a wife and 30 kids...same amount...

An Associates? generally E-3 in most branches except the Marines...

Depending on your branch of service an associates degree will make you enlisted not officer, that being said it all depends on your rank and what base you are assigned to. Like all of the people before me said contact a recruiter or try going to www.military.com. When I was on there I was able to find housing allowances based on rank and base for state side bases not overseas. Good luck and happy hunting!

OK, let's say they give you PFC (E-3 is the pay grade) for having an AA.
An E-3 gets $1705.80 Base pay per month.
Since you are married you would get Subsistence allowance since you wouldn't be eating at the Dining Facility. That's $323.87 (Tax free by the way)
Depending on where you get stationed you may get housing. Married with one child would get you a 2 bedroom place at a minimum.
If housing isn't available you would get BAH (Basic Allowance for Housing). BAH varies depending on where you live based on the cost of living there. For Ft. Hood TX it's $957 a month for a PFC.

E3 for everybody biut the Marines, they max out at E2.

base pay is the same no matter how many dependnets you have.

BAH is the same whether it is just yoru spouse or a spouse and 12 kids and is base don the zip code of the duty station and yoru paygrade.

BAS is a flat rate and is to feed the Servicemember ONLY
