Thread: How do I get an absentee ballot delivered to my home?

I am handicapped. I want to vote, have always voted, but getting to the voting places is difficult. How do I obtain what I need?

When you register to vote then you are sent an application to get an absentee ballot.
If you can not get out to register then call your county offices and someone will help you make that happen.
I wish more people were more interested in doing this instead of excusing themselves for not being able to get to the polls.

Call your county election board. Sometimes it's in the court house, often it isn't. And very often, your county election board will have an aabsentee ballot application form on line that you can print, fill out and mail to them. Once you've established that you need absentee ballots, it's only a matter of applying each year.

Go to "Insert your state here".gov and request an absentee ballot. You need to fill it out, sign it and mail it back or send it with someone else. If you send it with another person then they also need to sign.
