Employed when it is the very weight of immigrants that are imposing unbearable strain on public services.
because it is true, especially the NHS
Probably because the worst jobs in it are staffed by immigrants
Immigrants do take jobs that could have gone to Americans. It's really silly to say that the jobs are too lowly for americans and they wouldn't want them.
Immigrants work cheap and have no pride, so there are no worries about unions mucking up management follies.
Without immigrants, public services would have to hire actual citizens, who would make such outrageous demands as being treated respectfully and with a modicum of dignity.
This would cause management to collapse and have a fit, foaming at the mouth and shrieking in agony. The entire office would be closed down.
That's why the public services would collapse. They'd rather shut down all public services than to hire persons with a iota of self-respect.
Most people don't reason very much. Most run with what suits their emotional reactions. That's what puts us into the messes the world falls into.
The immigrants are from such cultures who grossly overpopulate. That pumps out excess labor who undercut wages and cause depressions. As their burgeoning hordes invade other lands that causes the wars.
Because it happens to be the case. Unless of course British layabouts get off their asses and fill the vacancies.
Basically because Brits don't want to do the jobs they do at the wages they are paid to do them. We have long since lost what used to be called the 'Protestant work ethic' where ~any~ sort of work was preferable to being out of work. Now we have too many shiftless idle so-and-so's who are home-grown who won't do anything except exploit the benefits system. That's without all the others we are now supporting who come from other countries both inside and outside the EU.
Our benefits system is largely to blame for the mess we are in. We give aid to foreigners who come here far too quickly. If I were to go to Australia or Canada, it would be ten years before I could claim any benefit of any sort. In other words, if I hadn't already got a job and housing lined up before I got there, I wouldn't be allowed to claim any benefit, and that would mean I would have to return home or rely on relatives and friends already there.
Think about how many doctors are Asian and how many carers are eastern European/African.
Britons think they are too good for a job and then cry when someone from another country takes it.
They don't steal jobs, they take what isn't wanted.
