Thread: How boring would politics be if the government had remained within its Consitutional limits?

Would we be talking about health care, abortion, social security, the economy, affirmative action, gay marriage, Straight marriage, income taxes, any Federal Taxes, climate change, Patriot act, FISA, etc?

It seems like foreign policy would be the only thing discussed at the Federal Level.

For a decade, the country was run within what you say are "its Constitutional limits". The constitution we had then was called the Articles of Confederation. And guess what? IT DIDN'T WORK.

and in the nation, probably all those things you mentioned would be about 20 percent worse off overall than they are now...

Actual not boring rather than turning your facing around and around. See how the poor national react to such politics, when things went wrong instead of finding a peaceful solution they turn into rebellion causing big devastation to lives and properties.
