Thread: To anyone who is sick and tired of illegal immigration and sanctuary cities?

Yes! Anywhere from 70 to 80 percent of us are!

I don't just write them letters. I rip them a new one!

As tired as i am of them, there is absolutely sh*t we can do about it! We Americans of the U.S. have lost our way and been cooned by politicians,corporations and the defense industry into letting things becaome as they are, with their promises of cheaper, faster, better, safer but this country has gone to the illegals, gays, special interest groups and the lobbyists! Where is our spirit of Revolution? We know we're being screwed and we do nothing about it because we're so busy chasing the next IPhone, Wii, or BMW that these foreigners keep pushing on us! Are children are getting fat and lazy, our military is getting burn out, our politicians are on the take,liars,or stupid, and what do we do? Sit and watch the latest reality show and shop at Walmart! Terrorists are practically walking into our country and you can go to the White House uninvited, and no one gives a sh*t! There are SO many illegals here til now we can't even afford to kick them out! Yes we do need SOME of them because someone has to work the fields, bus the tables, and do other jobs that we as Americans don't want to do, but you can't keep letting them all come! If they're illegal and make a baby, then take your baby with you! We can't kick them all out because their own countries won't even take them back, so what's the answer? Start in the jails! Take every illegal thats in there put him on a plane, give him a parachute ( made in China, Bought at WalMart!) and push him out! All the ones on public assistance, kick them off and tell them to either find a job, or join the army and find Osama! Stop this weak,liberal madness before we drown. REVOLUTION! Vote like you mean it!

Already have and will continue to do so.And HELLO Mell you are dead wrong these cities are worst off because of illegals.Id like to see you walk on the River Walk in downtown San Antonio after dark.I wouldn't if I was you.Really quit taking up for the illegals.If you people love them so much go back with them to their countries and help them there.

I am so writing and calling them every time I can. I joined some groups that are seeking the same. After all, "United we Stand" don't we?

i really do not see why people think that illegal immigrants and the people who want to help them are ruining america. when in reality, its the corrupt politicians that people vote in office that are slaves to corporate millionaires. those are the people who are really screwing over Americans. people need to stop focusing on these poor people b/c their different and look at the people in washington.

To anyone who is sick and tired of illegal immigration and sanctuary cities? Most US Citizens (naturalized and native born) are sick and tired.

Will you write a letter to your state and federal representatives to let them know how you'll vote? On the average, a small portion of the US population writes to their government representative on this problem. Why is it this way? I do not have any tangible answers but I can only give you my speculation on this:

1. A good portion of the American population cannot write or write well. There are a lot of studies out there that indicates that the overall US educational system does not teach grammar well and does not offer any kind of remedial classes during high school.

2. A good portion of the American population is indifferent to this problem as long as their short term way of life is not interrupted. They just to not care enough to see the long term big picture or long term negative effects on illegal immigration.

3. Writing to government representative is a tedious, lengthy, and frustrating process without pay. It is work. Most Americans do not want to do this work especially without pay. Sometimes you lose. But that is also part of participating in democracy. Starting a grass-roots movement across the country on this problem involves a lot of research, which also a lot of Americans do not want to do because it involves more work after work with no pay. This is the most unglamorous part of democracy but it has to be done.

4. Most Americans vote the same person in after so many terms. Look at Senator Ted Kennedy; he was in office for 40 years after the Chappaquiddick incident (18 July 1969). The only way he was going to leave was by death, which he did in 2009. He could have been voted out in the early 1970s but he was not.

Granted, illegal immigration is being fueled by big business who want cheap immigrant labor but that should not deter the American people from fighting for their home.
