    What field of Science did the discovery of the atomic bomb contribute to?

    Basically what I mean by the field of Science is like: Chemestry, Physics etc But could you please expand on that like if its Physics then could it be perhaps Nuclear Physics. Thanks in advance

    I would say nuclear physics and chemistry (though I don't know how to get more specific in chemistry). It's definitely Nuclear Physics, though, because of the way an atomic bomb works.
    And war, if that counts as a science.

    Nuclear physics for sure. The science behind atoms nucleus. The amazing force that fission produces when protons smash into each other and fragment.

    Physics, it showed that the nuclear force is much stronger than gravity.
