    Try not to imply in your writing that you are judging what people believed then from an anachronistic modern, perspective - i.e even though today we would dismiss witchcraft as irrational superstition, to an Elizabethan the notion of a witch living in the next town would have seemed less illogical and so we cannot write off all those people as "superstitious" in the modern sense.
