How to draw an isometric view of a footer in construction?

I think I have a pretty good idea of how to do it, but maybe someone with more knowledge can help me out. I can't find a section cut of what I'm talking about online, so hopefully someone knows! Thanks!

An isometric view is a drawing that shows three sides of an object combined into one view. I would describe it as a way of making a drawing look 3D.

Think of a cube which when viewed straight on to any given side will look like a square. So a front view (or the view of any other side) of a cube looks like a square. Now imagine that instead of look at the side straight on you instead look at one of the corners of the cube so that you can see the front , the side and top of the cube at the same time.

    it would look like this

An isometric view of the fundation would be a view that would look like a 3D layout of the basement walls.

Look at the images on this link (you have to press the red buttons) to see an isometric view of a foundation
