After World War I, many countries were in debt to the United States such as Britain. The U.S. began making a lot of money and businesses were flourishing until the market crash. The crash effected most of the world much worse than the U.S. When the U.S. entered WW2 the depression was officially over. After the allied powers had won, once again many countries were in debt to the U.S. causing businesses to once again flourish. Also, the U.S. went on a mission to keep countries from becoming communist. In doing so, many countries entered the world market helping capitalism, their economy, and the U.S.'s.
