Thread: What percentage of women are still having regular periods in their fifties?

I am in my early fifties and still having a period evey month. I was wondering when I will start having irregular periods. (t seems to me that most women start tapering off in their forties and I was wondering why I haven't yet. Anybody out there in the same situation? Also my periods are getting heavier and usually I pass clots of blood. This last time was really really bad and scared me. It was really heavy for about a day and so many blood clots.

Although you are having regular periods as the periods are getting heavier and clots are been passed , I advice you to get examined by a gynecologist.
