What the name of the at home test that tests for urinary infections?

I saw a commerical for a new test that you can take at home that you use like a pregnancy test. It will tell you if you have a bladder infection, uti, yeast infection and so on. I think Monistat makes it but I forgot. Please help if you know! Thanks a ton!

I am not sure, but if you go into the aisle that has condoms, pads, etc, you will find it there next to the pregnancy tests.

I have some and I'm assuming you have to have a pretty severe UTI in order for it to test positive because I've had one and when I took the test it didn't test.

I'm not sure about this, if I were you ask your doctor about the test the uriney infection as over counter. Your doctor will give you advise. But I know, that have pregnancy test at drug store. That only I seem them.

There are two different tests for UTIs and other vaginal infections. AZO is the test that checks for urinary infections. It costs about $12-$13 and includes three test strips. Each strip has two test pads- one for nitrites in the urine and one for white blood cells. If both are positive, you definitely have a UTI, if only one is, it is unsure, and you still have to go to the doctor. To be honest, the test is a waste, because you have to go to the doctor no matter what.

There is a different test for yeast and other infections that is made by Fem-V. That test checks for bacteria so you know if you have yeast or a bacterial infection. It doesn't really tell which infection you have, just whether or not there is excess bacteria there. If there aren't bacteria, it assumes you need to use an over the counter yeast medication. If there are bacteria, you go to the doctor to find out what kind of infection it is.
