What happens when your head is internally bleeding?

I am at my friends house, and her sister got into a car accident this morning. Her sister broke her neck, and her head is internally bleeding. We were wondering what happens or what COULD happen if her head is internally bleeding?

PLEASE answer! <3 we're very concerned for her sister...

if she have internal bleeding in her brain, then she might feel dizzy or even okay initially but after few hrs the blood will be enough in the brain to put pressure and cause DEATH. So let her go to hospital asap for check up.

This can be a serious sort of injury. If a blood vessel in the brain has ruptured, it could lead to oxygen starvation and death of all brain tissue that was fed by that vessel. Additionally, the buildup of blood in the skull would cause pressure on the rest of the brain, potentially doing more damage if that pressure isn't relieved very quickly.

The good news is that both this sort of injury and the broken neck can be treated with quick and experienced medical care. (A broken neck does not necessarily lead to paralysis- only if the spinal cord itself is severed or damaged.)

Good luck to your friend's sister.
