I've got a major cold and it's getting on my nerves, do you know what I can do to help it go away? Please help me. Thank-you.
bed + chicken noodle soup+ rest+ day/nyquil
there's no other way
Here are a few tips: take Lemsip or similar cold/flu medicine, keep warm, rest and drink plenty of fluids. A nice soothing drink is a teaspoon of honey and the juice of half a lemon in a mug of hot water. Try also adding a drop of Olbas oil to a bowl of boiling hot water and breathing in the steam - this will help clear your blocked nose and soothe your throat. Use balm impregnated tissues to soothe your nose, and have some chicken soup - it really helps! Good luck - I hope you soon feel better!
Try taking cough medicine every 4-6 hours,airborne,orange juice and if it is really bad then take honey and lemon.As the cold decreases decrease the cough medicine,orange juice and airborne.That's what I do and it really works.
Rest
Good sleep
naps
warm soups
Extra Vit. C
Plentiful fluids
Good luck, your cold is alreay heading out the door:}
Don't take stupid medicine anymore. That's the main reason why you're getting longer and more persistent colds. The medicine does all the work for us and our bodies aren't used to dealing with such afflictions.
What I like to do, and what works all the time is go for a JOG. Yes, that's true, a jog, a run, whatever you want to call it. It gets it right out of my system. It's important to keep warm whilst doing so in order to let your body sweat.
If you're not comfortable with the idea, get a few couple of extra blankets and stay as warm as you can, in order to sweat a lot. It works like a charm.
i find that some day and night cold and flu tablets do the trick.
hiya, 2 paracetamol every 4 hrs,and drink plenty of cooled boiled water with a teaspoon of honey in it.you will soon feel better.keep warm,but also make sure you have ventilation's in your room so its not to stuffy. hope you feel better soon.
