IF you totally don't want to use any kind of medication than gargle several times a day with warm water and salt. To hasten the healing if you use aspirin than crush an aspirin into the salt water and gargle with that. My daughter has a severe sore throat last week that wasn't strep and that what her doctor told her to do. But if the sore throat doesn't clear up you might want to have a swap done to make sure that it's not strep which can be serious if not treated. Strep is a bacterial infection that you need to get medications for. My daughter was out of school last year for over a month because of complications of strep throat which included some neurological complications which took months to get over,

That happend 2 me and dont say everything happebs 2 me lmafo..... it did b4 i drank a lot of water and i hate cough drops just do dat it will help if u dont like u cough droups u could get them in different flavers like orange,regular,watermelon... I HATE SORE THROA 2. =[

The warm salt water does work but colloidal silver works better and faster. Gargle with it and swallow plenty too.
You might want to start to gargle with Apple Cider Vinegar 3 times a day until it goes away. Get more immune strength by taking Vitamin C.
