Thread: When you are puttering around the house, what gets on your nerves quick?

In one second, I can go from pleasant to pissed when people use the contents of a package and instead of putting it in its receptical, they will lay it within inches of the bin. (On the counter, in the fridge, etc.) Anyone have a pet peeve on this?

I also detest coming home to a messy house!

Hmm. When I'm working on something, and people keep asking me something or start talking to me, it breaks my concentration and I forget things, having to go back and remeasure. Then as I'm walking by with the figures in my head, they start talking again. Happens EVERYTIME I fix something for a family member.

PS, It's the reason I choose to live alone, too.

I freakin' hate when my husband throws his clothes on the floor or on top of things when there is a clothes basket two feet from him!!!

The ones who call when I'm flouring a chicken to fry so I let the machine get it and they hang up when the message comes on and they don't leave a message on my machine. And they know I don't have caller I.D.

I don't get too much of this around here!
I'm a constant picker-upper, and I urge other people around me to do the same!
I rarely get any resistance!
I don't like a messy house either, and I don't like to clean, that's why I pick-up and clean as I go, and everybody better follow my lead!

I hate dirty clothes on the floor right by the hamper.
