    What's the best way for a full figured woman to wear a black dress?

    Wear the black stockings. Also, if you are conscious about your figure, you could get a long black scarf and wear it draped off your shoulders. It will draw attention away and give you a slimming look. Good luck!

    ok, first not stocking except black. off white is simple outdated. try a wrap dress, you can get a long sleves, that is knee length, and the low v neckline willinstantlyy slim u ! add a colorful clutch, with cute earringg and some nice heels.....simply chic!!!!

    I suggest accessorizing with a nice dark shawl or elegant sweater. I would also agree with everyone on the black stockings. White stockings would make your legs stand out too much and take away from your overall appearance.

    Put it on zip it up and be proud of who you are. Ignore the wonderful people that will always have a negative comment to make. They have S*** they need to work on too, it's just easier to see the faults of other people. I wouldn't go with white stockings though but that's your choice.
