What would be the best female to breed with a red halfmoon betta fish?

Like what color female would make the babies the prettiest? I really don't want all the babies to be mostly red, a variety would be nice.
    Thanks!

You can try with a white 1 and have streaks going across the frys fins

I would stay away from blue at all costs. If you want to try to breed a pure solid red, that would be ver pretty. It is hard to find solid colors without a trace of another color in them. I would go for the extended red look. Very intense and you can make major money off of them.

And for tails, do not mix veil tail or crown tail with him. The fry will turn out crown tail or veil tail. All to common.

If you want halfmoons, you are going to have to breed him to a female halfmoon.

If you want good looking fry, you should breed him to another red. If not, most of the fry will come out all sorts of ugly. If that doesn't bother you, then go ahead and breed to whatever you want. But remember, just because you breed a red to a white doesn't mean you are just going to get reds, whites, and mixes of the two.

Maybe a blue female or a white one.

I wouldn't do red because then they'd all look the same XP Boring! I would go for pretty much anything. Almost everything looks beautiful with red. Especially white, blue, and black. And when the betta fry are first born, they will be hideous and almost see-through. Don't be dissapointed, eventually they will become pretty and colorful. I would reccomend a half moon betta female. Hope this helps!
