What type of sandwich should I make for my little brother?s lunch tomorrow?

My little brother refuses to eat any sandwich besides lettuce and mustard. I think that this is really gross and bad for him, but my mom wants me to babysit so I have to make him lunch. Any other sandwich options? Help me I?m desperate.

Well peanut butter and jelly of course.
If not, try tuna with mayonnaise. B)

I suspect that your brother will carry on unless you make him his favorite lettuce and mustard delight. However, you might tempt him with some options:

    1. Turkey franks with lettuce and mustard
    2. Peanut butter with bananas and honey
    3. Chicken nuggets and tator tots
    4. Bacon and tomato
    5. Eggs and bacon with mustard
    6. Cheese with mustard and lettuce
    7. Tomatos, ham, mustard

Not sure how old your little bro is, but his taste for mustard might be serving a purpose by giving him some sort of nutritional boost....who knows? Try tempting him by adding some goodies instead of taking away his favorite!

Give him a half sandwich of lettuce and mustard, the way he likes it. There is nothing wrong with that, as long as he is not eating only that. He needs some protein and other stuff to make a healthy lunch. Let him pick out what else he would like in his lunch:

a clementine orange (no seeds, easy to peel)
    a small container of grapes
a small plastic container of fruit salad or applesauce
    a handful of raisins
    some cheese cubes
some peanut butter cracker sandwiches, if he is allowed to bring peanut butter in his lunches (you can't at some schools)
    a packet of string cheese
a packet of GoGurt (squeezable yogurt) or a small container of yogurt with a plastic spoon
    some yogurt covered raisins
money for milk, or a small thermos of milk (chocolate milk would be OK)
some baby carrots or carrot sticks
    some cherry tomatoes
a small container of hummus for dipping vegetables
a granola bar or a couple of cookies

You could also ask him what the other kids are eating for their lunches that he thinks he might like to eat. He might surprise you.
