What are some ways I can start preparing for soccer?

My soccer season starts in three weeks, however, I am still recovering from a terribly sprained ankle. I want to start getting prepped up. Any ideas on how I can practice things like throw in's? Or any other things I may be able to brush up on? Thanks in advance!

Try and run a little. After a while it will help your ankle and you will get used to running again.

well to stay in shape you should wait a few days til your ankle feels a bit better and go to sports authoirty and buy a speedrope..a speedrope is a jumprope (only faster) and will really help your calves and stamina..i box and i jumprope every day its alot of fun

Hit the gym for the conditioning training, thats what I always try and do.
Than once i feel good enough, i start to train slowly on the field, first touchs, shooting etc

I try and hit the gym or the pitch everyday to stay in shape

starting to run a little will help 100%

because you have a bad ankle, i would play one touch off the wall while alternating feet.

example kick the ball with your left foot, ball hits wall and comes back to you and you do it again except this time with your right foot and so on and so on.

as you heal....try going faster and faster with little distance between u and the wall...it will increase your ball control and also get you use to using both your feet.

    hope this helps!
best of luck in ur soccer season
