Where can I find some, that will work with my thick heavy hair that won't pull and tug on my hair. I need to have my hair up a lot, but I don't want to damage it.
I was a cheerleader with thick hair growing up my self. I don't know of any certain brands but I used to just look for the thickest ones and used them until they broke. Which was quite often. My advice, always have an extra.
I have "Goody" hair ties, their really thick and hold really well.
you can probably get them at any drug store.
I really like the Goody Stay Put Line. They have little grips in them to help keep your hair in place. They do pull a little when you take them out, but they keep your hair in place well. I really like their No Slide Headband and their round elastics. The flat elastics don't work as well as the round ones.
Hope this helps!
Look for the thickest kind at a CVS, target or wallmart and use them until they break. And be sure to always have an extra, just in case
you could also try like french braids, for a cuute way to keep your hair out of your face !
I have very thick hair andI would always be readjusting my ponytail because it would slide down or my hair would start falling down.
Then when it came to the time of pulling out that holder thing, the metal part would rip some of my hair out.
I started using scunci's no damage elastic hair bands. They are great they have some that are called "Firm and tight " I really like those.
They have a ton of diffrent no slip products that are great. and their elastics do not have metal parts that cause your hair to get tangled.
I can't find my favorite ones, they really don't allow any movement in you hair at all their great. If you come across any scunci ones that are black and flat elastic hair ties, those are great. the round elastics are very comfortable but I don't think they will give you the hold you need for sports.
As for headbands, i don't wear them. But i'm sure scunci could hook u up with good ones :P
(man i should just work for scunci huh, i just love their stuff cuz i never could find good stuff)
