Thread: What soap opera has a plot where the characters Valerie and James are involved in an incestuous relationship?

Valerie's mothers name is Margaret, and apparently Valerie and James were in a relationship (about to get married, actually) when Valerie finds out that James is her brother and her mother Margaret had been keeping that from her. I'm doing a scene involving this in my theater class and it's apparently from a real soap opera. I'm just curious to see which one it's from.

Young and the Restless had a similar storyline but with different characters names.

Christine/Cricket was involved with a man name Scott, they were engaged to be married but hadn't had sex yet. Scott was her brother and neither of them knew this, but the truth came out before they had sex.

I don't think any soap yet has had a full blown incest relationship, they would lose viewers that way.

Kelly's answer is the only story line that comes to mind. Maybe the character names were changed for your class?

I think Passions had a story similar to that as well.
