What is the maximum number of teams you should have in an NL Only Fantasy Baseball League?

Someone asked me to join a fantasy baseball league and I did. I don't have much experience with fantasy league baseball, but we have 12 teams and there is little that you can do during the season to improve your team. Obviously, you can try to trade with other players, but nobody wants to give up their good players for your bad ones. I think they should expand to NL and AL. Any thoughts?

I've never been in an NL only league, but I agree 12 teams seems like a lot! You wouldn't want to play in a AL/NL league with 24 teams, right?!

I like the idea of a NL only league, but the limit would be about 8 teams. More than that and it would need to be all of baseball. Of course I don't know how you'd change once the season has started.

I like my 12 team NL only league.

Emphasis on the draft, since there isn't a lot of talent floating around out there.
You need to take risks once in awhile, and you actually get punished if the risks don't pan out.

But some would rather have plenty of guys out there, that's why there are different leagues for different people.

(I wouldn't recommend 12 NL only for an inexperienced player... you wouldn't have heard of a lot of the players)
