Thread: What kind of route in football allows you to get the most separation from a cornerback defending you?

How about the Out-and-Up? When the defense jumps in front of what they think is an out the receiver just cuts up and BOOM 20 yards of open space. Slant and posts work well too. Also a quick screen works when the defense is back. My answer, though is the Out-and-Up.

probably a slant but then you have to watch out for the linebackers.

button hook if they are close if they are deep then a screen if they are just regular depth tjen prolly a flag route ( you fake in then run out)

5 and out a corner cant cover it if ur in front of them also go deep like a post except cut more like a slant
