I'm a novice runner (between 4-6 miles per day) and i am looking into getting a nice pair of running shoes. Any help is appreciated.

These sneakers are part of the Nike R4 series and they are very comfortable. They cost about $110.00.
I would like to recommend you to visit the website of wholesalers as there you will found number of different branded and non branded shoes with sensible price tags. The prices of wholesalers are much less than the other market prices. Big variety of products make easy for you to select the most suitable shoes.
I suggest visiting a local running store and having them look at your feet and your running form. They will do an awesome job finding the right shoe (at the right price) for your type. Here is a list of good running stores...

If you don't live near any of these stores, I suggest checking out Running Warehouse. They have great prices and some awesome tools to help you pick your shoes. Here's the link...

I LOVE THESE SO MUCH.
They are the lightest shoes in the world and sooo comfortable. They are great for short and long distances. I have them and am about to buy a second pair. Trust me, they are amazing. There is a women's and a men's version. I'll give you the link. I promise you will love these. If you buy them, you might want to buy a half or a full size above your usual, but read the reviews. Almost all of them are 5/5 stars. Best. Shoes. EVER. Totally worth the money, and all of the reviews will agree with me.The link to the men's version is in the source section below. Good luck!
