Be creative!!! For instance.. dice some tofu and place in a bowl. (if you want the tofu to absorb more flavor, you can place it in the freezer over night. This makes the tofu a litter firmer and absorbent)... chop up some onions and garlic. Place them in some oil on the stove and saute. Then ... add a little bit of salt and some cumin or curry. Place the tofu in the pot and stir until properly heated. you may need to add a little water. But you can do many variation! You can add ramen noodles, change ingredients, substitute tofu for chicken in recipes... ENJOY

Buy a packet/block/whatever of firm or silken tofu

Drain out the water from the packet, and pat the block of tofu dry with kitchen paper. Squeeze out as much liquid as you can.

Crumble the tofu by simply 'picking' at it with your hands - crumble off small bits until you've done all of it (or half of the block, depends how much you want to eat).

Heat some olive oil (about 1 tbsp) in a fairly large frying pan. Crush one clove of garlic and fry it in the oil for about a minute, then add whichever mushrooms you want (I think chestnut would probably work best in scrambled tofu). Fry them for about 3 mins until they're just starting to go brown. Add in the crumbled tofu and stir it around so the mushrooms and garlic reach all of the tofu. Add one or 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder/ground turmeric and stir again so all of the turmeric coats the tofu and turns it yellow. Add salt and pepper. To thicken it up and make it more 'runny', add 1 tbsp of soya cream or soya milk (or any other dairy-free cream/milk as you wish... or just dairy cream/milk if you're not vegan).

    And serve

If you want the tofu to have the texture of something like chicken or tuna-salad, you have to freeze it first. Buy FIRM tofu and pop in freezer. Let thaw thoroughly. Squeeze excess water out. Crumble with hands and add mayo, chopped celery, diced pickles, etc. and stir until you have the consistency you want. Use as you would to make a chicken or tuna-salad sandwich etc. BUT: tofu doesn't have a lot of flavor, so have fun adding various herbs. I usually stir in some Spike (herb/spice mixture usually sold at stores).
