I'm not talking about free agents who leave because their team sucks, I'm talking about the ones who are all about the money. Do you think it's disrespectful to the game that most pro athletes care more about money than winning championships?

no i dont think it is disrespectful cuz what if they needed the money! (they probably dont but just saying!) I would go for the money too! I think the moneys more impotarnt than the playoffs cuz you dont get much for the playoffs!
Money is more important. As a fan you hate to see your favorite player do something like that, but you don't know someones situation. If you can get it...take it.
No, it's there life. If money is what's most important to them, then let them do what they want.
What we fans do not understand is the NBA is a business. They have a union just like teachers. Derek Fisher is head of it. Anyways, they need to look out for their families and $ like in the real world is essential. Also, what if they have kids and the team that they are looking into have better schooling than the state their team is now? If I was an NBA player I would take every chance of this opportunity.
Fans need to understand this. I mean there are other reasons why players move because their team sucks and like us they always go for the best opportunity. What I do not agree with are players, like Sprewell whose game I idolize saying that he needs more $ because he needs to feed his family the guy was making 11 million and the T-Wolves would pay an additional 4 million and he turned it down and is nowhere for it.
