What color hinges should I have for an interior door?

I am going to replace my ugly gold door knobs with either oil rubbed bronze or nickel ones. I have a feeling that I would like white hinges so that they just blend into the white mouldings & doors. Would you recommend white or the same color as the door knobs?

I'll go with the knobs, because in the future white hinges get all oily and rusty in some cases depending if you live in a moisty area or in a dry area.

Definitely the same as the knobs. The contrast can be really attractive and will serve the same purpose as replacing the knobs, to give the doors a remodeled look.
