one thing is that i need to see how u swim to tell u what to do better but some tips i can give is reach your arms out more like reaching over a barrel don't put your arms in so soon make sure that your finger tips are the first things that hit the water. For flip turns once you push off the wall do butterfly kick.
those are some things but i really can't tell you till i see your swim stroke

Basically, when you are swimming freestyle, you have to remember to keep your head looking at the bottom of the pool. Try to breath the least amount of times as possible. As your arm enters the water, focus on keeping your elbow as high as possible (pushing down on the water helps to get your elbow up). Your kick should drive your stroke so kick as fast as possible and your arms as well!!!

Although I've never seen you swim some basic mistakes most make are kicking under the surface of the water. If you make short, fast kicks above the water you can cut some time. You should also try to limit your breathing as much as possible espically when you go into and come out of your turn. But remeber it may take time in order to see improvements, seconds are one of the hardest things to cut in this sport. So if you don't see progress don't give up. I hope this helps!

Keep practicing is one of the one things you can do.
Work on faster turns. Get your knees to your eys and flip over fast.

Work on your arms. You should reach your arms out far and fast. No short quick strokes.

    KICK!!!!!!

If this is a 50 yard time which i think it is, keep your arms short and fast. If you take long strides you are going slower and pacing yourself basically. Your arms should be short and super fast so youll pull the water faster and get more kicks in between. Just kick really hard if u focus on kicking youll be great!

    1) reaction time- when other people are doing starts when the person says "swimmers take your mark" lean over in kinda the position you do when you are on the block and then when the buzzer goes off clap your hands as fast as you can

2)Streamline the tighter your streamline the better make sure your hands are tight together and your arms are pressed against your ears

3)when you are on the block don't look out look down are even a little back

4)when you flip make sure you come straight over and not to the sides

    5) use your underwaters do three dolphin kicks off your flipturn and off the block(start small then go to big dolphin kicks)

6)don't breath in a fifty you get one breath down and two on the way back-- Air is the enemy!

7)make sure you are always kicking your arms may go out but your legs never will.

8)make sure you are finishing your stroke and not pulling your arm out early

    9) USE YOUR UNDERWATERS the farther you get under water the less you have to stroke you can make a fifty into a 30 or 20

Hope this helps and just remember you can swim fast anytime

That is an awesome time for i'm assuming a 50 yard freestyle. Always keep your head in line with your body, and your hips up. Your entire body needs to be in one straight line. Always keep a steady kick, bend at your knees and use your entire leg to kick. If you are doing a 50 yard freestyle, don't breathe until your breath before your flip turn. Then on the way back, breathe every 5 or 7 strokes.
