Call your local SPCA to come and rescue it.

Did you ever try taking it to the vet?

If its a kitten or a young cat then I would call your local humane society and most likely they will care for her and once its all better they will put it up for adoption.

Some shelters put down animals that are injured, while some rescue groups actually give injured cats priority. Go to http://www.petfinder.com and search for shelters and rescue groups in your area. Call them all and see if you can find someone to take her in that won't put her down.

For what it's worth, very few cats "like" other cats. Cats evolved over thousands of years as solitary hunters with defined territories, which they defended fiercely. If you really want to take this cat in, there's really no reason not to. You just have to take the time to keep the cats separate at first, and then introduced them gradually. Using Feliway plug-ins can also help both cats with the transition (sold online at http://www.fostersmith.com).

You can also take her to the vet and just keep her in your utility room or garage until she's better. There's no reason at all that she would poop or pee in your garage if you provide her with a litter pan.

I hope you're able to get her taken care of as soon as possible. I'm sure you realize that tail is not only extremely painful, but infection is a huge danger. I wish you the best of luck!

take it to your local vet and explain that its not your cat, the rspca, spca, aspca, cat protection ect. in your area will cover the bill its tail will most likely be docked and the cat re homed, being a young cat it will re home easily

Give it some tylonal and report within a day or two. I have had cats, inside and out. I just took care of a cat that had an infection in it's leg. If you take it to a vet it will cost you or your parents money that you don't need to spend.
