Other than providing discounts, what is the best and easy way to promote.

Between Mumbai and Pune, A volvo seat through the counter costs approx Rs 250, On the net the same seat costs Rs 900. I'm sure you see the point.

prompt your website by placing your service ad on the website either paid on facebook etc but they are expensive or for free on Indian websites such as quicker.com etc you can search them on Google

Prompt service - comfortable driving - stops at decent clean hotels for food/snacks - user friendly website with out so many pop ups and ads. Then the business will promote automatically. From the two questions you have asked i think you are in the bus operator related business. Now the bus to Chennai from central kerala - Kottayam Chengannur, thiruvalla, Changanacherry - is running through coimbatore - salem route. No body except one SETC service is operating through Kumali (Thekkady) - cumbam - theni-dindigal - trichy- villupuram route. It is short and good road too. Kottayam - Bangalore is also economical via this dindigal - karur - namakkal- salem route. In the weekends there is a rush to Velamkanni (Dindigal - Trichy- Tangaore- nagapatanam ) from Kottayam district
