What is the average price for a haircut and lowlights at a salon?

I'm getting it done, and I have a gift certificate, I just want to know if I'll be using my entire certificate or not.

    Thanks!

I have long hair and when I had just the ends and my bangs trimmed and alot of brown and blondish hi-lites added (I have very very dark hair), it was in the $90-$100 range, including tip.
There was another salon I was going to go to, but they wanted around $80 for the coloring alone

Well it depends on where you live. I live in a small town and I own a beauty shop and I would charge you about 55.00 depending how long your hair is. I know that would cost a lot more in a big city. Your best bet is to call around and check prices.

i'm in jacksonville, NC, medium sized city, and a full head of highlights (or lowlights) starts at $70 in my salon, and a haircut on top of that starts at $21, so you'd be looking at starting at $91. that's just my town, and my salon. other salons in my town charge upwards of $160 or so (because they are "spas" *rolling eyes*, even though they employ newly graduated apprentices), and you can get the same done at a "chop shop" for around $50 or so i'm sure, but then you'd have to pay me even more to fix it just call the salon you got the certificate to and ask for an estimate they will only give starting prices i'm sure, but you should be able to get a general idea
    good luck
