Thread: What are the appropriate hours for a 12 year old to babysit until?

What hours are most apropriate for a 12 year old to baby sit? What do you think is too late to babysit?

usually like 3-4 hours..

and latest at like 10. or 11.

I didn't start babysitting until I was 14. I'm not sure a 12 yr old is mature enough to babysit alone.

a lot depends on who & how old they are but MOST 12 yr olds should NOT be baby sitting at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when i was 12 i got to baby sit till i was baby sitting till 12 30 pm sometimes till one in the morning it depend ed on the parents!!!!!!!!! that i was watching for my parents new them!!!!!!!!!

Depends on the age of the child the 12 year old is watching, if it's a baby the 12 year old shouldn't be babysitting at all. If the child is 6-8 or so then 3-4 hours no later than 10 pm

i just wounder what the law say it seem like you have to be 13 before you can stay home alone
