Thread: Is there any good RuneScape recorders that don't require administrator rights?

I play RuneScape and make videos using HyperCam, but it has realy bad quality and Fraps and Camtasia require administrator privelages and my parents won't get them for me... Can someone tell me a better screen recorder that doesn't require administrator privelages?

Auto Screen Recorder is the best that i know of and its the on i use to make most of my videos.

Autoscreenrecorder is definitely one of the best free programs. It has much better quality and does not have the "unregistered hypercam." I would definitely recommend it. It also has the options of zooming in and "drawing on the screen" Furthermore, and I'd say maybe the best part, you can chose to have your mouse not show. The program was even designed specifically for gaming.

Invest in hyper cam professional if it means that much do you, I've never had any issues with hyper cam myself, perhaps you should configure your hyper cam for your computer in order to optimize the performance of the application.

Yea, I agree with the above person. Hypercam should work pretty well. Just try to get the registered version. (You can get it for free if you really look for it-if you'd like, I could send you a copy)
Anyway, many friends of mine have made really good looking videos using hypercam. Xphatmagexx, (a former friend of mine) with almost 50,000 subscribers now used to use hypercam from before. 104discs, who I believe has nearly a thousand subscribers uses hypercam. It's really not that bad. You just have to mess with it and figure out how to use it.
