Is it possible to live your life happily by remaining single and not being in a relationship?

Many good people seem to be choosing the single life over marriage or having relationships. They concentrate on activities, careers and friendships. Many have nieces, nephews and siblings but just decide to leave relationships aside. The reasons are usually due to the difficulties modern relationships seem to bring (people in general seem less honourable and trustworthy than in the past). Is it possible to be happy with this lifestyle?

It's quite possible, though I truly believe your'e life can't be completely "fulfilled", you can definitely be happy being single. It's far better than having that sour aftertaste in your mouth leftover from failed relationships in my opinion.

of course you can be happy. you are completely free. but sometimes you will feel like you want someone to be intimate with or even to go on a romantic dinner once a in a while.
but besides that i love my single life.

Yes, it is. Not everyone needs to be married or be in a relationship. People are different. Some are perfectly happy without a partner, and not everyone needs one. Some people have better things (to them) than a spouse. The reasons aren't due to anything like what you said. Some people just like being by themselves.

Yes as long as you are around single people only. As you grow older more and more people round you are married, and usually the men assume you are on your own because you cannot sustain relationships and they start making passes at you and you are then viewed wit suspicion by the wives.

    Sure you can.

There is nothing at all wrong with being in a relationship of course. But it does seem to bring an awful lot of needless drama much of the time.

My view is that if it works out that would be great. But if it doesn't then you should enjoy life anyway.
