I just need a little help checking my work here. Venus is in the seventh house and in Aquarius. The ascendant is in Leo.
Thanks for your answers.
Both are in Aquarius, and the orb is less than a degree.
I wouldn't describe it that way. I would say "Venus is conjunct the Descendant". This is a well-functioning place to have your Venus. The Descendant represents any relationships where you merge your interests with the interests of another: commonly, this is either business partnerships or marriage. Venus is your need to relate to others, so when Venus is conjunct the Descendant, you find intimacy natural and easy to express and achieve.
If Venus is in Aquarius, and conjunct the Descendant, then you probably have an Aquarius Descendant as well. You COULD have Venus at, say, 2 Aquarius, and a Desc. at 28 Capricorn ... and Venus would be conjunct the Descendant. For the sake of argument, we'll assume both are in Aquarius.
This means that you relate in a casual, friendly, but slightly aloof way to others on an intimate level. Rather than establish a close emotional bond, you are more comfortable work with a close intellectual bond which promotes understanding through good communication. And you tend to draw those who are like-minded for your partners.
I have that. From what I read it makes you self conscious about your appearance. It also makes you want to present your best looking self to the world so no one sees you how you see your self. Anything that is associated with Venus you feel like people might think you are lacking in, so you go out of your way to show you are not. That doesn't mean you ARE lacking in it. The opposition just makes you feel like you are.
