And how do you do it? Any suggestions? Websites or blueprints would be appreciated. Thanx!
It depends on the size you want to build. We put one one this year and we spent around $1000 on it. Go to building centers and shop around, that's what we did and it really paid off. We saved about $500 by shopping around and the first one we thought we wanted was not the one we got.
a 8wX10lX8h with a pitched roof wood floors about 500.00 for the basic build if you do it yourself-- more money if you add lights concrete floor cover the inside walls etc The site below has free plans find out what you need and go to lowes or home depot"s web site to get the prices good luck
As an "add-on" to your first two responses, I'll suggest you check with your local high school vocational school if you are fortunate enough to have one. Sometimes their carpentry classes build these as fund-raising projects. Also, check with building centers to see if they know of someone who is building and selling storage sheds as a public service project. You might not save any dollars over a kit at a big box store (price would be competitive), but you will be helping folks in your own community.
