How long would it take to get from the Tomsk region of Russia to the Tver region?

Also how would one go about traveling from Tomsk to Tver? Car? Train? Any little details would be very helpful including landmarks in between the two places.

You would have to use both the plane and train. From Tomsk to Moscow the best and fastest way is to travel by plane, which takes about 4.5 hours and costs anywhere from $200-300 dollars. Then from Moscow to Tver, the train takes about 2 hours and costs anywhere from $15-20 dollars.

If you do want to see different cities in between such as Kazan, Nizhniy Novgorod then you would have to travel by train, however this will need careful planning and buying tickets in advance. You will need to change train stations, buying tickets online (mostly in Russian), and more. I wouldn't recommend doing it unless you are traveling with Russian friends that know their way around.
